My experience at this rec center has been mostly positive, earning it a solid rating. Booking a Wally court over the phone is convenient, and the facility offers a range of amenities from basketball courts to pools and saunas, making it suitable for various interests. However, I encountered an issue with court reservations; despite my scheduled time, I faced difficulty having the previous occupants vacate the court promptly. Rather than the staff addressing the situation, I had to personally intervene, which was inconvenient and unexpected. Nevertheless, this hiccup aside, the center is kid-friendly and worth a visit, especially considering the affordable entry fee and diverse recreational options available.
Audrey Moore is a great rec center with a lot of amenities. It's a bit far for me personally but if I lived in the area I would visit more often. We are curently teaching scuba there with Diventures in Vienna and they are very accommodating.
The gym has some interesting characters and crabby old people, BUT I’m sick of being harassed and this old guy kept starring at me and was being very weird around the gym towards me causing me to leave. I’m not happy that I can’t feel safe at my own gym. I looked at him and he wouldn’t stop being weird so I snapped a photo making him aware that I did so! It’s once thing to stare, but he was making me feel uncomfortable! Be cautious ladies. You never know who’s watching you.
We went for my daughter’s swim meet this weekend and found the facility to be a very nice family recreation center. The have a skate park, basketball, racket ball and a nice sized swimming pool. I was impressed with their facilities for ADA as well. I highly recommend as a good winter facility to get your workout on.
Went to use the sauna on 01/14 and the experince was spoiled by a very loud group, who ignored me shouting for them to be quiet. Eventually a staffer came to tell them to quiet down. The Center needs to put up signage to the effect that this is a shared public facility and manners should be observed to keep noise and and disturbance to others down.
Has amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, indoor courts for racket/basketball, and a sauna. Admission without membership is around $10 but they offer student discounts.
I've been here for my daughter's soccer lessons, summer camp and swim classes. Good facility, well equipped, plenty of room... the kids play structure is a plus.
One of the best places I know of for open pottery lab. Also has a pool and fitness center and basketball courts. Sjatepark outside. Fields. Pretty legit rec center.
Avoid swim classes for kids at all costs. 6 kids per class with unprepared instructors, resulting in kids just sitting there waiting for some eventual attention. That was a total waste of my time and money.
It's perfect! The gym is mostly available but the swimming pool is occupied. There are activity centres within the compound. The place for all age groups except that little kids are now allowed in the gym. There are courts for basketball, squash, badminton but you have to have your equipment. I couldn't get an enrollment for my toddler in the swimming classes because it gets full too quickly. So time yourself to it. An outdoor skate yard and a tiny park sort of a space is there.
Ample parking!
